Workshops can take several forms depending on the ages of the children and the requirements of the school or group. For example, Beeston Primary School at Litcham near Kings Lynn had been learning about 'Minibeasts' as part of the National Curriculum.  Christine was invited to the school where she read the story to the children while they dressed up in some of the costumes used in the Sheringham Little Theatre production.  They then watched the video of the theatre production and listened to some of the songs on a demo tape. The school went on to perform the play themselves at the local village hall, in front of parents.  It was a great success. You can read teacher Sue Piffero's comments on the 'Play' link, and see some of the photos of the production.

Sheringham Primary School invited Christine to do a Wally workshop as part of their Arts Week which celebrated the centenary of the school in 2006.  Children from several classes dressed up and learned some of the songs and heard the story before watching the video of the play.  Here are some photos of them enjoying the day.

Pupils from year 7 at Sheringham High School performed the play for children from 3 primary schools who were bussed in for a day long Wally workshop. This is a photo of Christine with some of the pupils involved in the production.
